Maths Camp! (Saturday, October 24, 2009 / 1:57 PM)
Maths Camp was sooooo FUN FUN FUN!!! ^_^It's practically funner than Science Camp.
You get to make your own souvenir and bring it home!!!
Okay.. this is what happened. =)
First activity was done by this Mr Lim.
My GAWD it was f boring. == no offense
He keeps relating every word in his sentence to a new topic. O_O
But, we get to learn smth new. Smth like how to make your own sudoku. =)
He told us not to skip method if we are teaching primary kids. o.o
Quote : Don't be Glassloppers! Skip here skip there! The primary students will look confused!
Another quote : You will all be Glassloppers when you are in form 4!
( btw the glassloppers he was saying was actually grasshoppers xD )
Next activity was quite fun...

err... actually i have not much idea what he was trying to tell us..
but he made us cut manilla cards and make them into some animal shapes?
Then he asked us to sit in two circles and played a game with us.
The game goes like this :
You have to start the game with a two digit number e.g. 10 then the person next to you will continue e.g. 11...and it goes on and on...
the rule is that you must not say out the numbers that have the digit 7 or multiples of 7 in it.
you must stand up and keep quiet then sit down. whoever failed to do that, will be disqualified.
It was quite fun, i must say. ^_^
The third and Last activity was pure FUN.
It's called "Pin (smth)"
You will be given a paper that has pin points and shapes,
a cellotape, a roll of thread, a piece of nice black wood and some nails.
You have to stick the paper with pin points on top of the wood with the cellotape first,
then you use the hammer and nail in the nails on the pin points.
After that, you tear the paper away, and you'll get nice shapes of the nails.
Then, you'll use the thread and go around the nails to make some awesome designs.
=D It was Beauuuuuu-teeeee-fullll! I love it and i'm so proud of what i have done! =D

The shiny points on the wood are the nails. It was hard to nail them so straight and all the same height!!
My dad was so impressed he said he's gonna put it on display in the house, one day.
Don't know when that day will come LOL! xD
That's all for Maths Camp. =)
It'll be the second last day for us to go to school.
We'll miss studying. =) yeah right
